Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using NestJS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
– Build and manage microservices architecture to ensure seamless communication between different components of the system.
– Develop automation with Terraform/Pulumi API’s for infrastructure as code to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently.
– Engage in reverse engineering tasks to understand and improve existing systems and codebases.
– Optimize application performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring high availability and reliability.
– Contribute to the entire development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend development, cloud engineering, and related technologies.
– Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
– Strong proficiency in NestJS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis, with a proven track record of developing and deploying backend systems using these technologies.
– Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
– Proficiency in infrastructure as code practices, particularly with Terraform.
– Familiarity with reverse engineering techniques and a proactive attitude towards understanding existing codebases.
– Solid understanding of cloud engineering principles and hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Background Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
– 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
– Proficiency in English
