Junior Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and enhance web-based applications using Ruby on Rails
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features
• Participate in code reviews and testing
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues
• Work closely with other team members to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong understanding of Ruby on Rails development framework
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS
• Understanding of responsive web design principles
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Minitest
